    Structured Review

OriginLab corp origin graphing & analysis software version 2019
Half maximal effective concentration (EC 50 ), EC 20 (average ± standard error), and EC 100 (upper and lower 95% confidence limits) obtained by fitting a dose–response curve to data of mortality caused by the essential oil of Cymbopogon citratus freshly collected shoots (FS) or dry shoots acquired in northern (DS1) or central (DS2) mainland Portugal, their main compounds citral and geraniol, and the commercial nematicide emamectin benzoate. Curve slope ( p ) and goodness of fit (R 2 ) are presented for comparison purposes.

Techniques Used: Concentration Assay, Northern Blot, Comparison

Sigmoidal curves fitted to the nematicidal activity of essential oils from FS, DS1, and DS2 against the pinewood nematode, with respective relative amounts of total oxygen (O)-containing compounds ( a ). For the oxygen-containing compounds fraction (DS2 O), nematicidal activity was compared to that of its main compounds, citral and geraniol, and the commercial nematicide emamectin benzoate ( b ). Half maximal effective concentration (EC 50 ) values are shown for comparison purposes.
